The Venerable Isaac Oghenovo Tejevbo
Born 29th January, 1951 in Forcados (Delta State) to Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and
Margaret Tejevbo of Orherhe, Agbarho in Delta State of Nigeria.
- After primary school education, attended Eghorsa Anglican Grammar School, Benin City in Edo State of Nigeria, obtaining the School Certificate (‘O’ levels).
- Attended Government College, Ughelli, Delta State of Nigeria, for ‘A’ levels. (Higher School Certificate).
- Became Born-again in December 1971 in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Theological and ministerial training at London Bible College (Now London School of Theology), Northwood, Middlesex, England, obtaining, Diploma in Theology (University of London) and B.A. (Hons) in Theology (Council for National Academic Awards, (NAA), England.
- National Youth Service in Nigeria lecturing at Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN), Bukuru, Jos, Plateau State of Nigeria.
- Masters Studies in Theology at the University of Stirling, Stirling, Scotland, U.K. obtaining a Masters degree.
- Lectured at the Rivers State College of Education, Port Harcourt, Nigeria in the Department of Moral and Religious Studies, eventually rising to the position of Head of the Department.
- Ordained into the ministry of the Anglican Communion in 1986 as Deacon and then as priest in 1987.
- Resigned appointment with the College of Education to fulfill God’s calling in full time ministry in 1987.
- Pioneer Vicar (Pastor) of St. Matthew’s (Ang.) Church, Nkpogu, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in October, 1987.
- Installed a Canon in the Anglican Church, and later collacted an Archdeacon (Venerable) on December 20th, 1998
- Pastored and overseen many Churches and Archdeaconries in the Anglican Communion.
- While studying abroad, was involved in practical Christian ministry, serving at one time as leader of the Overseas Fellowship of Nigerian Christians (OFNC) in London, England, and pioneer leader of the African and Caribbean Christian Fellowship (ACCF) in Glosgow, Scotland, U.K.
- Extensively involved in Evangelism, Missions and Revivals in the Anglican Communion and beyond, nationally and internationally.
- Specially gifted in the areas of evangelism, teaching and deliverance.
- Married to Rume Tejevbo (Nee Macaruley).
- Has 4 children (sons) and presently, 6 grand-children.
- Presently Rector of St. Matthew’s (Ang.) Church, Nkpogu Deanery, Diocese of Niger Delta North, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion)
